- Do not take alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before your appointment.
- Avoid exercise the day of the procedure.
- Change bed linens to clean ones.
- Do not use tanning bed or go under direct sun exposure 28 days prior and after your appointment.
- Wash your scalp with a non-abrasive, gentle shampoo the day of your procedure before your appointment and keep it clean. DO NOT place any gels, hairspray, powders, fibers or leave-on conditioner on your scalp the day of your treatment.
- If experiencing breakouts on your scalp, we recommend you see a dermatologist or appropriate medical doctor to resolve this issue prior to your procedure.
- Apply moisturizer on your scalp for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Focus on relaxing and get a good night’s rest before your procedure. Try not to come in on an empty stomach.
- Casual dark color clothing is recommended.
– If you are extremely sensitive to pain, please seek medical advice prior to the procedure. (i.e. Medications)
– You may bring a clean hat or scarf to loosely cover your head after the treatment if so desired. However, this is not recommended due to possible bacteria and infection.
- Hair Length: This will be discussed ruing the consultation. As a general
- guideline for SMP, please shave your hair as close to the scalp as possible.
For SMP HD (Hair Density), please cut your hair as short as you are going to keep your hair
- Scalp Preparation: Please do not use a razor on your scalp on the day of the treatment. Shave or cut your hair 24 hours before your scheduled procedure. It is critical that we see all native hair in order to properly blend the hair follicles. Any redness, breakouts or infection on the scalp will lead to your appointment being cancelled and rescheduled.
If you would like a patch test prior to your service, please book a consultation first. We will provide you with the products; you’ll then have to arrange a test with a dermatologist or allergist.
Failure to follow the pre-care instructions may cause increased sensitivity, discomfort, infection, uneven placement or cancellation of your treatments.
