- Arrive with your brows (or your entire face) free of makeup.
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning beds for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
- Refrain from getting collagen, fat, or any injections or fillers in or around the brow area for at least 3 days before your appointment.
- Do not schedule a chemical peel around the brow area for 2 weeks to 3 months before your appointment, depending on the type of the peel.
- Avoid microneedling on or around the brow area for 2 weeks before your appointment.
- Stop doing any types of hair removal, including tweezing at home, around the brows for 3 days before and after your appointment.
- Refrain from trimming your brow hair for a minimum of 2-3 weeks before the appointment.
- Discontinue the use of active exfoliating products such as retinol, benzoyl peroxide, and acids around the brows and the forehead at least 1 week before the appointment, with the exception of enzyme exfoliation, which can and recommended to be done up to 3 days before the appointment.
- Keep the brow area hydrated and moisturized.

Failure to follow the pre-care instructions may cause increased sensitivity and, could lead to poor results.
