Sugaring Certificate Training FAQs
How much does our body sugaring course cost?
Our training course offers an affordable way to gain the skills you need to provide this in-demand treatment. With our two-step approach—self-paced theory and hands-on training—you can start learning without needing to make the full payment upfront.
I'm already a certified waxing or sugaring technician. Can I skip the theory portion?
To ensure all our students work with consistent understanding, techniques and safety protocols, we require everyone to complete the theory portion. However, we recognize your existing expertise and offer an 80-90% discount on theory for certified professionals, which will be applied to your hands-on training cost.
For fully certified sugaring technicians, we also offer the option of personalized one-on-one training programs.
What does the certification course include?
Our comprehensive certification includes both theory and hands-on training, covering proper technique, sanitation protocols, contraindications, client consultation, aftercare guidelines, and business practices. You’ll receive hands-on practice with supervision and feedback from experienced instructors.
Hands-on training course also include basic products to start your business including, sugar pastes, sugar warmer, powder, mist and lotion. You have an option to opt out for these products if you desire.
How long does it take to complete the certification?
The course duration varies depending on the program you choose. Theory can be completed at your own pace, as quick as an hour or as long as you want while hands-on basic training takes 6 hours, and hands-on advanced courses are offered as a private class and scheduled based on your availability and take 1.5-4 hours based on your chosen specialty.
Do I need to bring my own supplies or models?
We provide all necessary supplies and products during training. For semi-private classes, we provide a model and for private classes, you provide a model. If you need assistance in providing a model for your private classes, we can help so you get comprehensive experience.
Is there ongoing support after certification?
Yes! We offer post-certification support including technique refinement, business guidance, and troubleshooting assistance. Our goal is to ensure your long-term success in the sugaring industry.
Do you offer payment plans?
Our program is intentionally structured in separate modules – theory, basic hands-on, and advanced hands-on classes. This modular approach not only allows students to fully master each level before progressing but also provides natural payment breaks between sections. While we don’t offer traditional payment plans, this structure makes the investment more manageable by spreading costs across your learning journey.
Can I focus on specific areas or techniques?
Yes, we offer customized one-on-one training after completing the fundamental certification. Contact us to discuss further.
Sugaring Course Terms & Conditions
Refund Policy
Once the course is purchased, there are no refunds. Please contact us with any questions before making your purchase.
Rescheduling Policy
- Rescheduling requests made more than one week before the scheduled date are free of charge.
- Rescheduling with 5 days’ notice will incur a rescheduling fee equal to 50% of the course fee.
- Rescheduling with 3 days’ notice will incur a rescheduling fee equal to 65% of the course fee.
- Rescheduling within 3 days’ notice is not permitted. You will have forfeited the course and must purchase a new course.
- If a model has been arranged by the instructor for a private class, an additional $100 model arrangement fee will apply to any rescheduling within a week of the scheduled training.
Course Enrollment
- Please use your full name that should appear on the certificate.
- After payment for the theory portion, you will be directed to the course enrollment process.
Standard Sugaring Certificate Course
- The standard sugaring certificate course is semi-private, accommodating up to three students and requiring a minimum of two students.
- If no other students enroll, you can choose to:
1. Opt for a private class for an additional fee of $100.
2. Reschedule for a later date. - Notification will be provided at least one week before the scheduled date.
- The course includes a student kit with gloves in size Extra Small (XS). If you require larger glove sizes, please arrange to bring your own.
- The instructor will provide a model for semi-private courses.
Certification
- You will receive a certificate of completion after passing the theory portion with a minimum score of 70%.
- This theory certificate of completion does not authorize you to conduct business. Hands-on training must be completed to receive the full certification.
Advanced Courses
- Advanced courses (Brazilian and Manzilian) are available only to those with a sugaring certificate. Certificates from other sugaring academies are accepted.
- All advanced courses are private. If you wish to take the course with another individual, please contact us to make arrangements.
- You are responsible for providing models for all private courses. If you require us to provide a model, an additional fee of $100 per model will apply.
Model Requirements
- For the Brazilian course, two models are required.
- For the Manzilian course, one model is required.
- You are responsible for screening appropriate candidates for the model and ensuring they are prepared for the sugaring session
Hands-on Training
- During the hands-on training with models, please wear comfortable but professional attire and shoes.
- Remove all bracelets and pointy rings.
- Tie your hair and trim your nails.
Photography and Video
- Photos and videos are allowed during the course but only with the model’s consent. Ensure your models understand this requirement if you wish to record.
- Audio recordings are not permitted to be published on any platform without prior consent from the instructor.

Professional Conduct Policy
We strive to create a supportive, respectful learning environment for everyone. To maintain this positive atmosphere, we may discontinue training for conduct that disrupts the learning experience or makes others feel uncomfortable or unsafe. This includes:
- Disrespectful behavior toward instructors, staff, fellow students, or models, whether in person or through online platforms; this includes being rude, mean, or unreasonably unkind
- Inappropriate actions, gestures, or words of a sexual nature
- Disruptive behavior affecting the learning environment
- Violation of safety and sanitation protocols
- Attending class under the influence
- Unauthorized photography or recording
- Sharing confidential materials without permission
- Social media posts or online comments that harass, disparage, or compromise the privacy of others in the program
- Behavior that violates our professional standards or model dignity
Any violation of these guidelines may result in dismissal from the program without refund.
