• Have uncontrolled diabetes.
• Are taking autoimmune medication (for microneedling, skin needling, or medium-depth chemical peels).
• Have undergone oncology treatments in the past 12 months.
• Have an active cancer diagnosis.
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

To ensure the best results and reduce the risk of side effects:

• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment.
• Do not wax or undergo electrolysis for 3 days prior.
• Do not shave within 24 hours before your treatment.
• Avoid tanning or direct sun exposure for 14 days before and after your treatment.
• Discontinue use of retinol and exfoliating products (AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide) 5-7 days before treatment.
• Discontinue retinoid products 2-4 weeks prior.
• Before scheduling any treatments, please consult with us if you have received chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, fillers, or injections or any facial treatments at another clinic within 2-4 weeks prior to or after your appointment.
• Wait at least 1 week after receiving a steroid injection in the treatment area.
• Wait at least 1 week after completing oral or topical antibiotics on the treatment area, including acne medications.
• Wait at least 12 months after completing oral acne medication (all treatments except for custom facial and LED treatments).

Failure to follow pre-care instructions may result in increased sensitivity, discomfort, bleeding, scarring, or infection. In some cases, service may be denied.

In addition to the above pre-treatment care, you must:

• Discontinue anticoagulants and blood-thinning medications/supplements at least 1 week before your appointment. If they are prescribed or as physician’s instruction, their clearance for the treatment is required, and follow their instructions.
• Discontinue use of retinol and exfoliating products (such as AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide) 7 days before treatment unless instructed to do so with pre-treatment products.
• Discontinue retinoid products 4 weeks prior.
• Begin using tyrosinase inhibitors at least 2-4 weeks prior if they are not already part of your daily routine.
• Start using Vitamin Rich Repair at night for 2-3 weeks before the treatment, or Retinal Active every 2-3 night for 2 weeks and increase to everynight for 5 days before the treatment.
• Avoid all forms of tanning and sunburn (including tanning beds and self-tanners) for a minimum of 72 hours before treatment.

Area-Specific Pre-Care

• For Skin Needling on the Face:

  • It is recommended to receive a deep exfoliation treatment—such as a enzyme facial, dermaplaning, or microdermabrasion—up to 7 days prior to your appointment.

  • Please wear or bring a clean sports bra to your appointment.

• For the first 24 hours: Avoid saunas, massages and other body therapies, exercise, and alcohol.
• Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water, especially after microneedling, skin needling, chemical peels, and microcurrent treatments.
• Avoid makeup for 24 hours after a sugaring facial. For microneedling and skin needling, avoid makeup until Day 3. After that , only 100% pure mineral makeup is recommended. For other treatments, it’s preferable to avoid makeup overnight.
• Avoid active exfoliant (such as AHAs, BHA, Benzoyl Peroxide, retinol, retinoid) for 5 days unless included in your post-care instructions. Avoid active ingredients (such as vitamin C, niacinamide) for 3 days if your skin is sensitive.
• Always apply sunscreen daily and accordingly, even on cloudy days or while indoors near windows.

Daily Care Instructions

Day 1 (Treatment Day)

• Apply provided Hyaluronic Acid (HA) serum several times throughout the day
• Use gentle patting motions only – no rubbing
• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water

Day 2
Morning Routine:

• Stay indoors and away from windows
• Avoid hot water when cleansing
• Cleanse treated area with provided mild cleanser
• Apply remaining HA serum from aftercare kit
• Apply sheet mask for 30 minutes (recommended: store in refrigerator)
• Gently massage remaining serum into skin
• Apply Brite Lite, Antioxidant Cocktail, and Hyla Active (optional targeted products, purchased separately)
• Apply Vitamin Rich Repair (mandatory post-care product purchased separately)
• Finish with provided moisturizer and Squalane Oil

Evening Routine:

• Gently cleanse treated area with provided mild cleanser

Day 3 and Beyond

• Begin using mineral-based sunscreen (minimum SPF 30+):

  • Apply proper amount (lots) of mineral sunscreen
• Continue targeted optional products (Brite Lite, Hyla Active, Antioxidant Cocktail) and Vitamin Rich Repair twice daily for 5 days
• You may experience flakiness
  • Do not rub or peel the skin
  • A mild enzyme mask can be used to gently address flaking
• Makeup may be resumed:
  • Use only mineral-based products
  • Apply with clean fingers or new applicators
  • Avoid oil-based products

Restrictions and Precautions

Skincare Products: Avoid the following for 5 days unless included in your post-care instructions:

What to Expect Immediately After Treatment

Mandatory Care Products to Purchase

• If using Retinal Active (particularly for body scars and stretch marks), do not apply immediately. Post-care application must start on Day 4, applied every 2–3 nights for the first 2 weeks.

General Skin Care

• Use only products recommended by your skincare professional. Unapproved products may contain ingredients that cause irritation, granulomas, or infection.

• Avoid makeup on the treated area until Day 3. After that, you may use 100% pure mineral powder makeup.

• Sleep on clean pillowcases, linens, and nightwear to prevent bacteria from transferring to your skin.

• Moisturize the treated area daily starting 7 days post-treatment with a non-irritating product.

• Begin using broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen properly 48 hours post-treatment, and continue daily.

• Avoid direct sun exposure and heat (sun, hot showers, saunas) for at least 7 days, and ideally 15+ days.

Activity Restrictions

• Avoid the following for at least 7 days:

• Hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, or hot showers
• Swimming (pool, lake, or ocean)
• AHA/BHA-based products
• Retinoic acid or retinoid products unless specified in your custom scar protocol
• Avoid hair removal methods like electrolysis, waxing, sugaring, or threading for 21 days on treated body areas.
• Physical treatments (e.g., massage, cupping, physiotherapy) on treated areas
• Avoid mechanical exfoliation or scrubs for at least 14 days
• No tanning or tanning booths for at least 21 days

Additional Guidelines for Fitzpatrick Skin Types IV–VI

• Temporary darkening of pigment may occur before lightening.

• Use cooling pads stored in the freezer as cold compresses on the treated area 4 times a day for 20 minutes during the first 48 hours to calm irritation and minimize the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).

For Scar Treatments

• SSScar Cream or Silicone patches are strongly recommended for normotrophic, hypertrophic, and trauma scars. Wear them for at least 12 hours per day after dressing is removed and continue until your next session.

• For contracture scars, compression garments may be advised to support healing and skin remodeling.

Important Reminders

• Do not touch the treated skin unnecessarily. If you must, make sure your hands are clean.

• Follow your technician’s post-care instructions and prescribed home care consistently to maximize results and minimize complications.

• Healing is gradual—allow your body the time it needs to recover and regenerate effectively.

• You may experience redness and swelling, usually, up to three days.
• You may experience itching, burning and possible breakouts (purging).

Microneedling is a highly effective and low-risk skin treatment that can help with fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, hyperpigmentation, and scars from acne, surgery, burns, and tattoos.

Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) gently induces controlled micro-injuries to the skin, which triggers the skin’s natural repair process, resulting in production of collagen and elastin.

We offer treatments for all parts of the body, including the scalp, to restore youthful beauty to the décolleté, hands, arms, legs, back, abdomen, and intimate part.

We utilize sterile, single-use needling cartridges for our needling procedure. First, your skin is cleansed and disinfected, and then our technician applies a thin layer of microneedling solution, hyaluronic acid (HA) serum or saline solution to your skin, choosing a personalized setting to match your skin type and condition.

Traditional dermal rolling techniques were often painful, requiring topical anesthetic cream. Today, with the advanced Dp4 device at Vita Felice, there’s simply no comparison—this microneedling treatment is comfortable and virtually pain-free, often without the need for local anesthesia. However, pain tolerance varies. While some may feel a light, sandpaper-like sensation, others feel nothing at all. For those with lower pain tolerance, a numbing option is available to ensure your comfort.

The appointment is 1 hour and 30 minutes, which includes LED Light Therapy and post needling masque. Microneedling time itself can take as little as 15 minutes depending on the size of the area you’re having treated. Please add 30 more minutes if you opt for anesthetic option.

Right after the treatment, your skin will be bright red, but it will go away fairly quickly. The redness usually lasts 1-3 days. Some clients heal completely within 24 hours. Other than redness, you might experience swelling and flakiness before getting smooth and soft skin. You can speed things along by using the skincare products recommended by your aesthetician. We recommend for our clients to go home and relax after the procedure, and avoid sweating for 3 days.

Please refrain from using makeup for at least until Day 3 or preferably 48 hours after the procedure. After that, you can use makeup. However, we recommend using mineral-based products and cleaning applicators.

Once the redness fades, you’ll see a difference as the skin begins to adopt a glow. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Skin can continue to improve up to 6 months after a series of treatments.

It truly depends on your skin’s condition and treatment needs. Some people will only need one treatment, but for most cases, 3-6 treatments with 4-6 week break in between each, provide the best results. For clients with more significant skin-care concerns, such as burn scars, it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions.
