All-Natural Body Sugaring - New Westminster's Very First Sugaring Studio

Body sugaring is a very effective hair removal method of its kind and is one of the oldest-known methods of hair removal. We use a special sugar paste from SugarSMAC, which is made from sugar, water and lemon juice and is totally natural. Our technician is specifically trained in the art of sugaring, which is a very specific skill!

Warm sugar paste (instead of hot), which only adheres to hair and dead skin and is a great option for sensitive skin types, is applied against hair growth. And then it is flicked off in the direction of hair growth to keep the hair intact and prevent breakage . You can rest assured that you’ll never be burnt or experience irritation after your sugaring treatment. The all-natural ingredients we use in the past make body sugaring safe for men and women of all ages, skin types and hair textures.

Body Sugaring FAQ

How long will my body hair stay away after body sugaring?

It depends on the individual and the part of the body. Consult with our technician for individual cases.

How often should I get sugaring?

We recommend scheduling your sugaring sessions every four weeks for the first 3 visits to maximize the benefits of sugaring. After that, you may come back less frequently.

Do I need to prepare for my appointment in any way?

Please take a shower and wash your body before your scheduled sugaring appointments and do not put deodorant or any lotion or cream on the areas you are getting that day. Please wear or bring clean clothes. Cotton is recommended. We recommend not to rush into your appointment particularly in the summer. Perspiration can make sugaring experience uncomfortable.

I have sensitive skin; can I ?

Absolutely! Any skin and hair type can get sugaring. It’s even safe if you’re pregnant. Our paste is 100% eco-friendly, biodegradable, all natural, and any excess sugar paste comes off gently with warm water.

I get breakout from waxing. Can I get sugaring?

It is very important to follow the post-treatment instructions. If you sweat or touch the treated skin, that can harbor bacteria and cause breakouts, since the pores are open from hair removal treatment.

I get hive like reaction from waxing. Can I get sugaring?

It sounds like a histamine reaction. It is your body’s response to trauma. Hair removal, including sugaring, can cause the histamine reaction, particularly with peach fuzz. It usually goes away in several hours and cold compress may ease discomfort. If this reaction is severe or prolonged, please go see a doctor and get properly treated.
